Prepared is
a relative term.

“You can’t drink all day if you don’t start in the morning.”

The Bloody Mary is ready. The remote has fresh batteries. Somebody is missing a shoe. Sunday is proceeding exactly according to plan.

Last week’s lesson: follow who actually gets the ball before letting the weather app play offensive coordinator.

Rothstein is parked in Atlanta. Han takes the Carolina–Indianapolis detour. Stringer has some business in New England and Baltimore. Let’s see who gets to tell his story after lunch.

Why Male Models?

Three ways to tell Sunday’s story.

Market Read

Rothstein

Final pregame
“There are three ways of doing things around here: the right way, the wrong way, and the way I do it.”

Rothstein pulls up a chair in Atlanta and refuses to change the channel. Caleb is back, Penix is in, and the roof is shut. The early slate’s biggest total still lives here: Penix finds London, Bijan keeps the chains moving, and Swift and Burden make Chicago answer.

He wants another-score football, right through the fourth quarter. Five players can share the feast, provided the touchdowns reach this cast. Rothstein has ordered for the table. Somebody still has to bring the food. Sunday’s cast ↗

What breaks it

Atlanta’s backs take the scores, Chicago settles for field goals, or the touchdowns go to somebody outside our five.

Odunze replaces Burden; Stevenson replaces Allen. This retains the Atlanta trio and two Chicago players, but trades receiver roles and backfield exposure. Henderson is active, so Stevenson remains a shared-backfield bet. This changes the scoring path; current ownership is unavailable.

Editor’s Pick

Han Solo

Final pregame
“Never tell me the odds.”

Han hears “highest total” and takes the other exit. He sees Carolina getting comfortable against a bruised Eagles team: Bryce finds McMillan, Hubbard handles the hard yards, and Panthers pressure keeps the afternoon on their terms. Moton is back to help hold the door.

Taylor gets daylight and Downs helps Indianapolis turn possession into points. Warren’s absence leaves one fewer established target in the Colts huddle; extra work for Downs is our read, not a guarantee. Bryce and McMillan still need their share before Hubbard carries the groceries home. Sunday’s cast ↗

What breaks it

Philadelphia exposes Carolina’s thin secondary, Hubbard takes all the touchdowns, or the Colts improve without our guys owning the points.

Hunter Henry replaces Johnson; Stevenson replaces Allen. Bryce, McMillan, Hubbard, Taylor and Downs stay in place. Henry supplies a cheaper passing role; Stevenson adds New England rushing exposure. Brown and Henderson are active, so both still share the work.

Wrench’s Choice

Stringer Bell

Final pregame
“It’s just business.”

Stringer would prefer an orderly afternoon. Let the Jets bring pressure: Maye finds Doubs and Hunter Henry, and New England stays ahead of the argument. Campbell is available to protect the meeting. A.J. Brown is back, too, and may have his own agenda.

In Cleveland, Derrick Henry leans on the Browns while Baltimore’s pass rush makes their quarterback uncomfortable. Nabers and Likely supply another receiving pair. Metcalf and Allen round out the room. Efficient throws here, hard yards there. Stringer would like everyone to stick to the agenda. Sunday’s cast ↗

What breaks it

The blitz gets home, Brown takes the passing scores, or Baltimore’s patched-up line stalls. The Giants’ missing right tackle and Tampa’s wind add friction.

Burden replaces Metcalf. The New England passing core, Henry–Ravens pairing and Giants duo stay intact. This adds Chicago catch-and-run upside and leaves $400 unused. Caleb is active. This also removes the Tampa wind exposure carried by Metcalf.

Everybody’s Got a Guy

The work behind the names.

Bijan gets the good seat.

Rothstein pays for Atlanta’s lead runner. London gets the passing spotlight; Bijan keeps a hand on how the afternoon unfolds.

Bernard earns a chair.

Nine catches last week and Pittsburgh’s missing receivers earn the $4,000 rookie a chair. Metcalf is active; the snacks still have to go around. Tampa’s wind keeps us honest.

Allen ties the room together.

All three base rosters use him with Hall out. That is one shared workload bet. Three different stories can still trip over the same coffee table.

All six rosters clear the inactive lists and the salary cap. Allen is still the common coffee table all three base stories can trip over. Tampa supplies the wind watch; every game starts at noon Central.

Sunday personnel check

Chicago–Atlanta

Caleb and Penix are available. Monangai and Tyrique Stevenson are inactive. All selected players clear the lists; Swift’s workload is supported, not exclusive. Report ↗

Carolina–Philadelphia

Moton, Wharton and Etienne are available; Freeling and Dillon are inactive. The Bryce–McMillan–Hubbard core clears the list. McKee starts for Hurts; Barkley is out. Report ↗

Jets–Patriots

Hall and guard Parham are inactive. Allen is available. Brown, Henderson and Campbell are active: retain target competition and a shared Patriots backfield. Report ↗

Baltimore–Cleveland

Huntley starts. Jurgens and Vorhees are inactive; Emery Jones and Hendrickson are available. Cleveland is without Judkins and Graham. Henry and Ravens DST remain in the control story. Report ↗

Pittsburgh–Tampa Bay

Metcalf, Bernard and Freiermuth clear the inactive list. Wilson is on IR; Skowronek is out. Mayfield is inactive; Daniels starts. Tampa’s wind is the conditions concern. Report ↗

New Orleans–New York

Eluemunor and Theo Johnson are inactive; Andrew Thomas is available. Nabers, Likely, Juwan Johnson, Olave and Kamara clear the lists. Protection remains relevant to the Giants pair. Report ↗

Tennessee–Indianapolis

Warren is inactive; Taylor, Downs and Jones are available. Mallory is available after Saturday’s activation. Spears is absent from the Titans’ inactive list; no replacement-back windfall is assumed. Report ↗

Game-window weather and roofs

Tampa is the outlier. Wind adds uncertainty to Pittsburgh’s passing ceiling; Bernard’s recent work and the missing receivers still support his role. No automatic full fade or invented fantasy-point penalty.

What the models know

Final Sunday research builds: current availability, opportunity, protection and market reviewed. The October 15 screenshots remain an incomplete historical benchmark, with 188 matched estimates and 172 uncaptured pool entries. No fresh projection or ownership feed, calibrated ceiling or mathematical optimum is claimed. DraftKings average points are historical.

Each roster passes the nine-slot, unique-ID, $50,000 cap, slate and availability audit. The house rule also avoids offense against its own DST. Opportunity and a coherent scoring story drive the choices; salary savings and a different character do not guarantee a different outcome.
